My Journey
I started Trading in February 2020. I traded FX and CFD Shares without any profit for two years. However, my education in Trading had started. Analysing charts to find entries and exits was very time-consuming and very random.
I became interested in Algo Trading when introduced to Trade View in mid-2021 after a webinar. The idea of Algo Trading made sense to me as I could see that it would mean not looking at charts to enter or exit every Trade.
After some time I Invested in the System Building Program and Trading Talk Videos which have been amazing.
The Systems Building and Trading Talks increased my interest and knowledge in Algo Trading which allowed me to turn my first simple trading strategy into an automated system that can trade 24 hours a day. With the help of Trade View, I was able to back test the strategy and analyse the results before taking the strategy to live, and right from the start it had a good equity curve.
In Sept 2022, I attended my first in-house workshop and this is where I met my first Trader and The Trade View crew for the first time. It was good to put a face to the people that were teaching me through the online portals and content. Although I wasn’t sure that I had enough Algo knowledge to be attending the workshop, what I learnt was fantastic and gave me the belief and confidence to move on with my Algo Trading.
After the Workshop, I purchased the 2021 Algo Trading Conference Recordings to further expand my algo trading knowledge, learn from some of the world’s best traders, and test and develop the Strategies from the Conference.
With the help of Trade View, I uploaded 5 Strategies from the 2021 Conference and 1 of my own Strategies onto a Demo Account in mid-September 2022. I also gained some experience from “The Queen of Algos” (one of Trade View’s clients) to Test Strategies on a Demo Account for 2 months before moving to a Live Account.

September: 2022 -4.4%
October: 2022 4.7%
November: 2022 10.3%
After Trading on a Demo Account for 3 Months and analysing the Trade results, I uploaded 5 of the Strategies to a Live Account.

One of the key elements to making a Profit is to have a very good Journal system and analyse the Trades and Strategies to find the Best performers and have a good Trade Management system. One major part of Trade Management is to be able to handle Draw Down and be prepared to allow the Algo to do its job.
Emotion and FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) are two mindsets that can destroy Traders – Algos take these two things out of the equation.
On 21st December 2022, I opened a Trade View X live account and uploaded an Algo that I had tested on a Demo Account.
I am now up over 34%.
