What excites you most about the conference?
From this year’s conference for me, as always, it’s the contact with other people. So, that social element is important, but getting other trading ideas from other people, you know, learning about what’s working, what’s not working. And it’s a good reset for me each year to sort of reestablish what my goals are for the coming year.
Which speaker excited you the most this year?
I’d say Tim, probably. Just because of a different perspective and someone that’s traded in different markets to what I currently have traded in. So, I found Tim really interesting and his background in commodities.
How long have you been trading?
I’ve been trading probably since the early 2000s. But really only got involved in Forex trading around 2014 – 2015, around that time.
How did you get introduced to automated trading?
It’s a good question. I’ve been looking at it and have been interested in it for many years. I’m trying to think how I actually stumbled across Trade View now. But it was probably the first time I’ve come across something automated. So in the past, it was always very manual.
And I was looking for something automated because I was limited in the time I could spend focused on trading and time that I could spend in front of a screen.
