International Trading Championship 2020
Trade View’s annual International Trading Championship is back again this year in partnership with GO Markets. Each year Trade View holds its real money competition based on percentage returns with up to AU$50,000 in prizes to be won, including up to AU$10,000 live GO Markets trading accounts PLUS a ticket to the sought after annual Algo Trading Conference with flights and accommodation.
Having received excellent feedback from previous participants and top traders, Trade View expects growth in engagement this year. Last year’s winner, Ivo Horvat-Puzak, took home a AU$10,000 Live trading account PLUS a VIP ticket to Melbourne’s annual Algo Trading Conference featuring Haim Bodek, Andreas Clenow, Dr Ernie Chan & Dr Roger Hunter including accommodation and return tickets from Switzerland to Melbourne. With last year’s success, Trade View expects to see a few familiar faces from previous championships. During Trade View’s interview with Horvat-Puzak, he expressed the struggles many traders who want to start automating their trades at home face. He said,
“I always hated coding from the beginning so a couple of years ago when I was at work I was thinking about how do I achieve to have more money and more time in my life, … how do I create something fast without learning programming language, etc. that’s when I basically found Trade View and Trade View X – it’s a proof to myself as well that models actually can work.”
After learning to use the tools and successfully trading the markets, Horvat-Puzak’s hard work finally paid off as he received the Trading Champion Title.
“It’s definitely nice to come to Melbourne, I’m looking forward to meeting the people who are coming to the conference. Obviously I heard there were a few names that are coming to the conference who were on the leaderboard as well … The main thing I look forward to is to meet a lot of people from the industry, to exchange and get insights on other models that can apply to mine as well.”
Having attended the conference, Horvat-Puzak was able to gain exclusive insights from world class professional traders which he has been able to take into this year’s Championship. Many other traders who witnessed his journey have since signed up and prepared themselves to compete this year.
The trading championship is open to traders from all types of backgrounds, ranging from beginners to those who have frequently traded the markets. Trade View explains that winners are calculated based on percentage returns to give all traders equal chance to take out the title of International Trading Champion. Every 3 months, the top 3 traders will be announced in the Sprint Championship and win trader development programs from Trade View plus live GO Markets trading accounts. Traders who join the Sprint Championship will automatically be eligible to compete in the Marathon Championship to be in the running for the major prize.

To join the Championship, traders simply need to register their existing GO Markets Live account, or open a new GO Markets Live account through the Championship site and trade any markets.
